Most of the treks in Nepal last more than one week. But here around Pokhara you also find many opportunities to make short treks like the Ghorepani to Gahndruk Trek.
The region is dominated by the Gurungs and Magars. Dense rhododendron forests, varieties of birds, deep sub-tropical valleys, traditional villages, age-old tradition and culture, hospitable people, ever-smiling faces of the people, majestic mountain views are some of the major attractions of this trek.
You can reach the starting point of these treks with a short journey by bus or taxi.
