Earthquake in Nepal

At the 25th April a strong earthquake (7.8) hit Nepal in the area near Saurpani, between Kathmandu and Pokhara. The earthquake was followed by many powerful aftershocks.

The damages in Pokhara are not as bad as in Kathmandu. Annapurna and Poon Hill Trek are still possible. But the airport in Kathmandu is temporaily closed and traveling may be complicated due to closed roads.
